"Staff was very nice, but honestly this property is pretty old and kinda shady. Kept hearing people running and stomping up and down the stairs and corridor well afterhours and heard someone try to open my door (i can only hope that they mistook my room for theirs and not some other nefarious reason). The cleanliness is mid, but the bedding and towels are beyond old. The cover had stains and smelled musty, and after seeing two stained towels, i just chose to use my own towels instead. I know the motel is old, and i wouldnt complain much about the wear and tear aspect of this place- but i really feel like if you're a solo traveller (particularly a female solo traveller) you're better off just paying a bit more money and stay somewhere safer. "

"The floor was filthy, the sheets had a 2 foot rip in the corner that should have been obvious to whoever made the bed. The bathroom door had obviously been punched in a few places and just spackled over. The shower curtain had pink stains on it and a spot that looked like someone wrote their name with a pen. I ordered 2 queen beds and was not informed that the room had a special door that was a small room with the second bed. If I wouldn't have called to ask about only getting one bed, I would not have been informed. The bathrrom andd bedroom room had a doorknob where you poke the center to unlock it from the outside. The curtain was see-through. The fridge was dirty inside so we washed it. I used their shampoo and a few towels to wash their dang floor that was leaving our feet black, which was transferring to the bed when we would sit. Washing me and my kid's feet left a bunch of black gunk in the sink, which was gross. I told the front desk and he said since I was only there for one night and housekeeping already left, then oh well. So oh well, now you have two black towels and you're welcome for the floor finally being washed. "

"Live and dead cockroaches are present. AC is not cooling even set at 60F. Stain and hole in bedsheets. Bed side lamp is not working. The room have musty smell. Breakfast is cold and no other options. The worst La Quinta we’ve stayed. The front desk staff is not as friendly and welcoming compared to other La Quinta inns."
