Very Large Luxury Villa With Private Pool And Breathtaking Views

"This is a wonderful Villa and was ideal for a family celebration. The accommodation is of a high standard and the cleanliness and standards of all the rooms were excellent. Booking, check-in and communications with the owner were friendly, efficient and helpful. The Villa was perfect for entertaining a large group being very spacious allowing a great mixture for both group activities and privacy as required. The location was very convenient for access to beautiful beaches, small towns, excellent restaurants and Argostoli. All the maintenance staff we had the pleasure to meet were very helpful, kind and highly efficient. In summary this was the perfect Villa for our three week holiday of a mixed age group from 20 months to 70."

What truly set this experience apart was Yolanda, the chef and house manager, along with her outstanding team. Yolanda’s attention to detail, warmth, and culinary talents made us feel like honored guests in a private paradise. Every meal was a masterpiece—fresh, local ingredients prepared with love and Greek soul. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and created an atmosphere that was both luxurious and deeply personal. The location of the estate is also ideal: tucked away for total privacy and tranquility, yet perfectly positioned to explore the best of Kefalonia. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying a sunset dinner on the terrace, or taking a short drive to the island’s pristine beaches and charming villages, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. This estate is more than just a rental—it's an experience. We left with full hearts, full bellies, and memories we’ll cherish forever. The facilities were absolutely spotless and we could not fault anything. The pool area had a fantastic view and the quality of the pool was first class! "We had high expectations for this property, especially given the good communication from the owner before our arrival, who provided helpful information. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped.
The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets flushing. The constant noise kept us awake all night.
I raised the issue on the first day and requested a room change, but I was told no other rooms were available. Strangely, the next day, guests in Room 4 also complained about the noise and were moved to a different room. This double standard left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
On top of that, the shower in our room was extremely small and uncomfortable to use.
After two unbearable nights, we decided to cut our stay short by four days and paid to move to another property. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday and a good night’s sleep, I would recommend looking elsewhere."
