"Good hotel. Breakfast was good. Room also good for europe standard: big enough. Location is good. They have a new bar and front desk was advertising it with discount on first drink. However, when you go to the bar, it was pretty clear that this was a new endeavor for them. There were 3 group of people in bar in total and everyone in staff seemed overwhelmed with that. After waiting for 10 mins without being addressed, walked out and still no one asked what is up. Minus the bar, hotel is great....

"The building is very old and needs some renovations. Very noisy. 38 minute walk into the town. Good area for a walk/run. A couple of restaurants very close which was convenient. Apparently there is a bus stop nearby but neither receptionists could tell me where it was located. Staff not very friendly. I would stay in the town on my next visit to Florence."

"Incredible off-season stay. The breakfast each morning was incredible. So much better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was amazing. The Villa itself is a renovated Renaissance property and all around are little reminders of its glorious past. We were too early for the pool (starts in June) but I have a feeling that’s why we got such a great deal. The views from the decks are incredible and it’s close to Florence. The roads...

"The property was located closely to the main train station in the city, close enough to walk to all the tourist destinations and right near a bunch of restaurants. The room was very clean, minimalist but perfectly put together, staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay at again in Florence. "
