"Check In war okay. Schlüssel befand sich wie mitgeteilt am Ort. Alles in allem war es dort schön. Schöner Pool. Kids hatten Freude. Küche bräuchte dringend eine Grundreinigung. Abzugshaube eklig. Gegend sehr abgelegen und ziemlich weit weg zur Hauptstraße. Info über die Mülltrennung wäre noch gut gewesen. Müll von Vorgänger war bis zur unserer Abreise nicht abgeholt worden. "

"The pictures of the property and apartment speak for themselves. Angela and Simone keep this beautiful property meticulously maintained and very clean. They provided a great welcome package that included various kitchen staples (eggs/bread/OJ/fruit, etc...) which we put to good use. Center of town is a 12 minute walk from the apartment and day trips to Florence/Portofino/Cinque Terre are easy (about an hour away each). City of Lucca is 25 minutes away by car and a hidden gem of this region. Staying here at Casale Galeotti with Angela and Simone was a good decision. They were responsive hosts who enjoy the art of hospitality. My family loved staying here."

"A beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location. The house was clean, tidy and well equipped with comfortable beds and ample space to sit both inside and out for dining and relaxing. The views are quite spectacular and waking every morning to open the shutters to this was breathtaking. The metato was superb and made a great space for my sister and her family to stay in, containing separate bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. 7 of us stayed very comfortably within the main house and 3 in the metato with room for another. The pool area was especially relaxing, with a good sized clean pool, a table chairs and sun loungers. Most importantly, there were sun umbrellas and plenty of shade in all the seating areas. Plenty of board games and books are provided and the sitting room is a perfect space for all sitting together. The local Spar provides most of the basics and is around an 8 minute drive away.We cannot recommend this property enough, Mike was brilliant at communicating and sent us all the information we needed for a very smooth stay. We were all very impressed and sad to leave this little piece of Tuscan heaven."

"4 adults, 1 teen and 1 10 year old stayed in June 2025. It was very hot and so we were deeply appreciative of the large pool. Jonathan was responsive and great to connect with - communication around pool cleaning was always clear and flexible. Great holiday, great space that matches the description shared.Highly recommend the restaurant at the end of the road - reservation needed, but great value and wonderful food."

"My family of 5 and I had an amazing stay at Angela and Simone’s place . The property was well located allowing us to do day trips to Florence, Forte de Marmi and Cinque Terre. After long days away from the home , we came back to a very tranquil setting . My family could relax by the pool in a beautifully landscaped and manicured backyard full of beautiful trees, shrubs and marble statues . The unit itself was very well designed and spacious and our family was comfortable. What made the accommodation the most appealing was the hospitality of Angela and Simone. Truly five star quality. They were easily accessible to answer any question we had and gave us recommendations on sightseeing options. We also had a private meal prepared for in the backyard. This was the best meal of our trip. It helps that Angela and Simone are professional chefs. If we travel back to the region again, we will definitely be staying at Angela and Simone’s place. "

"We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table too! Just a great stay, everything we hoped for. "Superb stylish villa with wonderful gardens and pool. Remote control gates added a great feel of security. Table under the pergola was superb for taking meals. We cooked outside all the time as the Bbq was excellent and the local shops, especially the Sigma, had a great variety of meat and a seafood counter where we bought squid and prawns etc. There is a larger Esselunga supermarket on John F Kennedy in Lido di Camaoire but once we discovered the Sigma there was no need to return. We would greatly recommend the Ristorante Antipasteria Katia Montebello on the end of Via Grotto just a few minutes walk from the Villa. We went there twice as the food and service was so good. We would recommend the villa for those wanting a home away from home experience - well appointed, extremely clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels (including pool towels) supplied. Within easy driving distance of Lido Di Camaiore for the beach, Pietrasanta, Pisa and Lucca for sightseeing and shopping . Our hosts Donatella and her son Gabriel were very courteous with good communication."
