"Lovely three day stay in Menaggio where we really enjoyed the hotel. The property sits on the water and a sweet square, full of life, dog walking and beautiful views. Hotel Du Lac is like an inn, with a small coffee cafe restaurant on property. Everything we had there was wonderful, and the view of the lake and activity on the walkway was lovely. Special thanks to employee Faisal who was patient with me when I called being"lost" at another property of the same name in another lake town. He was kind, got us on the right ferry and welcomed us when we arrived at the front desk. He also was our server for a quick lunch upon arrival, and we felt well taken care of. Overall a quiet little town, not as crowded as some of the more known towns, and we highly recommend the town and Hotel Du Lac."

"The place is really nice,,,very very clean,,,and the view is amazing,,,the master is on the first level with a beautiful bathroom,,,2nd and 3rd bedrooms are on next level with a beautiful huge bathroom,,,,only downside is that it is a good 30 minute walk into Menaggio,,,,,the kitchen is smaller than depicted in photos,,,,but still okay,,they have now got built in benches on deck instead of the table and chairs,,,,needs cushions,,,1 couch that sits 3 or otherwise you sit at dining room table,,,,but like I said,,,the view is amazing,,,we are out on the deck the whole time,,,,"

"Nadia was a fantastic host! We unfortuantely had the worst weather of the month, but it was great to have a large room we didn't feel we wanted to leave. The Private Bathroom was huge, and the shower was AMAZING. As long as you have a car there are plenty of places to visit from here, 45min to Lugano (Switzerland), and its nice to drive around the lake through all the towns. Close to Menaggio, and the greenway walk. Easy to get a ferry to Bellagio, and other towns. The pool is lovely and easy access to the beach and lake, can walk up into the local town in 5min. Private parking. Breakfast was fabulous with a different suprise each day! "

"Great place tucked away in a lovely medieval village. Hosts have some great recommendations and is the start place of some good hikes either easy ones to viewpoints or you can hike all the way up to the top of Cima Monte Grona"

"All utilities and utensils to cook and make it a pleasant stay is excellent.It is an old house - you need many keys to get to through the du al doors into the room :-)Only urgent update must be the new pullout couch - it feels like sleeping on a crewel road-.Good intentions RegardsW"
