We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco! The location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful—and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant served excellent meals. The only downside was that the pool and jacuzzi were under renovation during our visit, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a Monteverde stay!

We stayed in a family room by the pool. It was awesome. Great property. Lovely staff. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Pool was warm. Hot tub could be hotter. Wish there was a microwave in the room. Pool was very nice, and while the resort does overall seems family friendly, the pool is overall somewhat small and includes a swim up bar...so kids jumping, thrashing, splashing around isn't necessarily compatible. I did feel like I had to police my kids quite a bit to prevent them splashing people sitting at the bar/the bar itself just due to the size of the pool.

Good experience overall

Great service. Excellent breakfast buffet and good restaurant. There is a lot of dining option in a walking distance also. Nice tropical garden where we can observe hummingbirds and a toucan. The only bothering thing was that the breaker of the A/C had to be repaired twice in 2 days (it get very humid in the room without ventilation even if it is not that warm) but we had service for it has soon as requested

Awesome place to stay in Santa Elena

This was such a great place to stay. So close to the town, and very walkable yet it felt like you were away from everything when at the hotel. Great place for families. Their trails are fun to explore and make sure you check out the frog zoo down the road. Everyone had a great time.
