I really appreciated my 5 night stay over there. I found the place extremely quiet, even though the location was located in a very busy area (may be partly because my room was looking at the inner yard ). It is a old house with thick walls and thick wooden doors which also probably help helps in absorbing the sound waves. I also needed a table with a chair in order to get some work done in my room and promptly the staff provided me with the furniture. I could also use a small fridge at the end of the corridor which was quite convenient.

Staff was helpful when we needed another set of towels. Room was clean and spacious. Would have been nice to know if the room had a microwave and fridge sooner and that it had no kettle. No ramp to go into the hotel was hard when lugging heavy luggage. Otherwise good experience.

it’s a cheap room downtown. For the price we had low expectations. But the room was nice, very clean, and right downtown. The staff were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. The parking is a unique situation. We gave our keys to the front desk. And the owner, who is a master Parker. Rearranged the cars in the very tight spaces to help accommodate everyone. it’s free parking downtown, and he knows what he’s doing. Will definitely stay again, look forward to saying hello to the friendly owners again in the future. Maybe a bit of air con would’ve been nice, but we were still comfortable

This hotel is great if you’re just needing a place to sleep for a cheap price. The staff are very kind. Although it’s an old building, it’s got air conditioning! There’s no elevator, so if you’re not on the first floor you’ll be climbing some stairs. The room was clean, just the shower could have been professionally cleaned a bit better. This was my first time in Montreal and I found the location was perfect and centrally located within walking distance to everything I wanted to see (also near the metro station if unable to walk).

It was a comfortable stay. The only issues were: my towel was stained, the shower was clogged so there was water up to my ankles. The bathroom fan was way too loud. I was there staying over after a concert so it was just to sleep. I got sleep.
