"There are rooms that’s better then the others ones this time we got a better room"

"We stayed at the Carleton Motel. We stayed there because we saw so many people said everything was so wonderful. I think they must have been referring only to the Hotel. The Motel owned by the Carleton really needs updating. Our room was ok but it smelled musty and it just looked like it needed updating. I really felt like I paid too much for the room that we rented for the condition that it was in."

"This property was very nice., Host was very accommodating and let us check in early so we didnt need to haul our luggage around with us for hours. My only issue was the not the host fault, but the location is not best area. Probably the cost was so reasonable."

"Parking is either street parking or the garage which is pay to park which is the same for about any where you go in Chicago. Breakfast was pretty standard but the muffins were amazing don’t know how they keep them so moist but definitely recommend trying them but they only had them out on weekday mornings. The room was nice only down side was the bed sheets kept fighting with them every night to keep the corners on. Also the gym had a nice water fill station and if you need to do laundry bring $5 in quarters because the hotel doesn’t keep change on hand. "

"Definitely a hotel for adults. When checking in was told no kids or pets. The room was very basic but clean. Big comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. The jacuzzi tub was big enough for 2 and got nice and hot. There is a $100 CASH deposit when checking in that we weren't expecting so dont get stuck using they're ATM. When checking out, the attendant goes and personally checks the room to be everything is in order and then gives you your cash deposit back."

"Let me just, you get what you pay for. The space itself was accommodating enough for me and my sisters. We were able to make it work for our stay. However, there were a few downsides that are worth mentioning.The bathroom wasn’t very clean upon arrival, which was very disappointing for a group of women. The two twin beds were uncomfortable. Parking was also a major issue. One night we came back and spent nearly an hour driving around trying to find a spot. Because of that, we ended up taking an Uber the next day just to avoid losing the parking we finally found.Late at night, there were groups of guys hanging out on the corners when we returned around 1am. No one bothered us at all, and we didn’t feel frightened or threatened—just something to be aware of.The Pro of this property is that it was centrally located, took us 15 minutes to get everywhere.I tried not to rely too heavily on the mixed reviews when booking, but in hindsight, some of those concerns were valid. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re on a budget and don’t mind a few inconveniences but we wouldn’t stay again. "

"Very cute little place to stay. Parking was a mess but once we got it figured out it went smoothly. Was so hot in there would have been nice to be able to adjust the thermostat without messaging the owner but we made it work."
