"Housekeeping was almost nonexistent. Had to call them at check-in because room was filthy and daily’s they would need to be called for towels. Breakfast and concierge service was awesome and pool area was also great. No amenities and no upgrade offered and 2 free drinks during stay omitted."

"It's a great hotel for the location. Near Cinelandia and Lapa, short ride to several businesses, consulates and Santos Dumont airport. Perfect view of the Sugar Loaf mountain from the rooftop by the pool. Staff was attentive and helped with what they could. However during my stay, the boiler broke down and there was no hot water for several hours into the night, so no hot shower that day. I also was shocked they didn't have a proper business center (with a "business " name and everything). TV only had local channels and awful signal, so couldn't even check/watch some of the World Cup. Wifi was a hit or miss, often only working in the lobby area. 2 elevators and one was under repairs, so 1 elevator for 19 floors, I was using the stairs often. Breakfast was excellent. If they fixed whatever wasn't working during my stay, it's a great hotel."

"Room was clean and in a very good location to access the city between copacabana beach and the historical centre. However a slight damp smell in the room but overall the stay was very worth the money and the breakfast was good."

"This was a great first stop in Brazil! There is nothing like starting your journey out in prayer and greatfulness on top of their private mountain with sugarloaf Christ the Redemeer and the other side of the city all within a turn. There are many reading nooks across the property to calm down after all your adventures. The entire was clean and the sheets even had a faint smell of bleach meaning you know you are in a good place. Even the matresses were clean. They have frozen meals for purchase if you are solo traveling this is a convenient option. The potato and meet dish was quite delicious. All the staff were a delight to be around and helpful. The ring sweet bread with the jam and cream was my favorite from breakfast but the gernola and yogurt were also pleasant. I encourage you to host a retreat here for your ladies, church, leadership trainings, employee appreciation, family reunions, or the like."
