"We've been coming to Orcas for years and this is now our favorite house. The views are incredible and it feels so remote, despite the fact that it is so close to town and Moran State Park. Everything in the house is perfect from the beds to the furniture to the well appointed kitchen. It is truly a gem of a house and we will definitely come back."

"Beautiful home and location, it was perfect for our family of 7 (all adults). We love cooking and enjoyed our dinners on the patio almost every night! The game room downstairs was so fun - we played pool, played arcade games and enjoyed the hot tub. Overall, it was a very comfortable home and a great experience!"

"Beautiful location, super secluded on a dead-end road up Buck Mountain. Comfortable, clean, communicative hosts - would absolutely stay again! The road to the location is smooth and well maintained, but windy and very steep. Would recommend all-wheel drive in winter, totally fine in summer for all vehicles."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The main living/dining/kitchen area is very nice, the master bedroom is enormous, it's a great location close to both town and Moran State Park -- literally about 6 minutes from Cascade Lake -- and sitting out on the deck gives a sense of being "in the treetops." Nice large/modern washer and dryer as well.Couple notes that may be helpful to other guests:-- the listing notes only two bedrooms, but there is a third room with a queen bed and good shades that functions just fine as a bedroom. It's not listed as one bc you have to pass through it to get from the main living space to the master. If privacy is a concern, you can use the deck to get from the living area to the master, bypassing this room. Its hard to decipher the layout from VRBO photos but Vacasa has a walkthrough tool showing the full layout.-- as noted above, this is a Vacasa property. We had no issues at all with maintenance but communication is slower (sometimes considerably slower) than is typical for individual-owned house rentals and you're interacting with a Vacasa office employee, not someone who knows the property directly, so adjust expectations accordingly. There is a listed contact for a local manager to help with on-property issues once you get to the house (we didn't have any issues)."

"Beautiful home! Stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely consider staying here again the next time we're on Orcas Island. Only issue we had was that the wifi was not working while we were there, but the management company was very helpful and great at communicating to keep us informed of what was happening (had to bring in CenturyLink to fix a problem on their end, which took 4 days). Also, note that there are no bathrooms on the main floor, so it was a bit incovenient to have to go upstairs every time. But the home was till great and we'll definitely be back."
