"Staff were friendly, helpful. The air conditioning didn’t seem to be working, so we just off it. Two good things about this hotel is the location. It’s situated very near the train station and has a large supermarket within walking distance. The nearest laundromat was about 5 mins walk from the hotel (which wasn’t ideal when it was rainy season) The bed wasn’t too comfortable and the pillow was way too soft. It was hard to bathe in the toilet as well since the water pressure was not that great and we had to adjust both the hot and cold tap to get the optimal pressure every time we bathe. "

"Pleasant staff and useful shuttle pick up at Nikko train station. Perfect location to access temples and shrines. Thoroughly enjoyed spacious room and cleanliness. Refined meals with option to have western or japanese style breakfasts. Recommends without hesitation."

"The Yunomori onsen ryokan was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner was incredible and the staff were 10/10 amazing. We had an in-room onsen and it was perfect. The entire place was clean and incredibly cozy. I would absolutely recommend Yunomori to anybody! It's a short walk to Yuno Lake nearby and also some beautiful waterfalls. I highly recommend this place to stay in Nikko. It was a very special experience for us. "
