Reception staff are friendly, the room and bathroom are a good size and are clean/well-maintained They have a laundry room which is really helpful The hotel is also 2 minutes from the Higashiyama metro station and about 10 minutes from Sanjo station so also conveniently placed for any day trips Would definitely recommend...
