"Great stay - enjoyed it."

"This hotel was in walkable distance for my groups stay. We did enjoy our stay, HOWEVER check in was at 1500 but we had some things to do so we dropped off our luggage. We were given the option to pay and check in early and “possibly” have the room ready earlier than 1500. Arrived back to the hotel at at 1630 to check in and head to our rooms. This is when we were told our rooms were actually not ready yet. So an hour and a half after check in and we still cannot go to our rooms. "

"Highly recommend this hotel! The rooms and common areas are very clean, and the atmosphere is great. I loved the lounge area; it was the perfect spot for our group to gather and much better than just sitting in our rooms. Even though breakfast wasn't included, the food was excellent, and the continental buffet was always stocked. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!"

"The good: Friendly staff. Ample free gated parking. The location was on a hill with great views but was still walkable for those able to walk an incline. Updated old building with charm. The bad: Overall clean but overly cleaned in halls making the smell of cleaner/chemical very potent and present throughout our stay. This excessive pledge like smell was difficult to walk though multiple times daily. There was also water pressure issues where I was left cold and soapy standing in the shower without water. Front desk staff stated too many people were showering at once. That’s unacceptable. I would not stay again with the issues and price point with so many other options. "

"Parking was a bit confusing but the staff was as helpful as they could be in explaining it. Room was good and when we were having a problem with the AC the staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating "

"Very old style. The rooms were lacking. Walls were scratched up-carpet was stained. It was clean. And the lobby was beautiful! Breakfast was really good, but lacking good customer service. Boiler broke down first day there. Had no hot water or heat. They did switch me over to a really nice hotel and paid for it themselves. So that was very nice!"
