"We came to stay one night with a child. The bathtub was peeling and in such poor condition that it was honestly scary to even take a shower, so we decided to skip it. The floor was sticky, which made it seem like it’s cleaned very rarely. I understand that the hotel is older and budget-friendly, but having properly cleaned floors is a basic expectation I contacted the staff several times about the noise coming from the room above us, it continued throughout the evening and even at night. I asked if they could possibly ask them to be a bit quieter, but no one ever responded. The description also mentions a snack bar, but keep in mind that it’s just a couple of vending machines ."

"Everything was perfect for a quick getaway! Staff was very nice and welcoming, property was clean and room chilled to perfection. The hotel had late night cookies and milk, board games to play, freshly made, hot full buffet breakfast. There was a library area and cozy couch for relaxing. Plenty of table settings for Breakfast dining and was kept clean and organized. The price was perfect for my budget. Place was decorated to Easter/Spring and overall atmosphere was so welcoming and beautiful. Would definitely stay there again! "

"The property is located just a few minutes from Carlsbad Village. The beach is in walking distance. The hotel offers bicycles, beach chairs and towel. They also have a shuttle that can take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. We enjoyed the spa where we had a couples massage. All the employees from the front desk to the wait staff and room attendants were so nice. We had a balcony with a view of the pool and the ocean. It was so peaceful and relaxing! "
