"Never had worse customer service at a Motel 6 than this. Had made a reservation, arrived later in evening, attendant couldn't have cared less that we were there, went through motions handed card key. We went to the room, opened the door, the room very overwhelming smelled like smoke - smell which someone was definitely smoking in the room. We only stepped in glanced at the room noticed did not have a very clean look to it. Immediately stepped out, returned to front desk to get another room. When we mentioned that the room had a very heavy smell of smoke, asked attendant if entire motel and grounds were smoke-free he replied, "yes." At some point in the interaction he said, "Motel 6 guests don't give a care (other word was actually used)." Got key for a different room and door would not unlock. That point we made reservations for another hotel, gave the keys back and left. Used to like Motel 6 but some locations are not kept well anymore."

"Beautiful new hotel, but still not really open. Most of the amenities are not really available. The shuttle is never available and you can’t reserve it. The pool was also still closed. The restaurant while good was missing basics, like milk. Disappointing overall for a hotel of that standard, though the staff tried to make up for it. "
