Eden Hotel Wolff

"The Eden Wolff is located conveniently right next to the train station and a short walk to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. It was also within walking distance to the Oktoberfest venue. The first room we were provided was not in good condition, it had a musty smell and the AC wasn’t working. When we mentioned it to the staff, they immediately moved us to another room which was much better. The buffet breakfast was very nice with plenty of options, including eggs, yogurts, cheeses, meats, pastries, cereals, and a variety of coffees, teas, and juices. The staff there were very attentive and the restaurant was calm and cozy."

"This is our second year traveling to Munich for Oktoberfest and staying at the Maritim. The staff at the front desk is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is consistently fresh, plentiful and they offer a nice variety of options. The piano bar is always relaxing and the staff is friendly. My only and single complaint about this hotel is the location. While it is centrally located and within walking distance to the city center, the train station is directly across from this hotel and you will see sketchy characters at all hours of the day and night."

"The Kempinski was excellent. An amazing property right on one of the most impressive streets in Munich! The one thing we didn’t love was the pool…the water was a bit chilly for our taste, especially after coming from warm heated pools at another property in southern Bavaria. We did also ask 3 times for our twin beds to be pulled apart (friends traveling); once in the booking, once at check in and a 3rd time later that same evening. We eventually did it ourselves, which is regrettable to report at such a high end property. Despite that, a very lovely stay. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne at check in, just what the doctor ordered after a long train ride to Munich and local transfers on the tram with our bags!"
