"We had an excellent stay at Beach Haven Cottage. Perfect for a family stay. The accommodation was very clean & comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped & it was an added bonus to have some baby items provided & games for entertainment. Great location & onsite facilities in the village. Definitely on our list to return!"

"Great property. Sleeps 8. Very spacious. pet friendly.Beautiful site, well maintained. Downstairs bedroom and shower room which is good for those who can’t climb stairs. Grassy area around property, good for kids to kick a ball around. Near beach. Fantastic master suite, with bifold doors and balcony overlooking area. This room has a futon that could sleep additional 2 children. Rooms are downstairs small double, and upstairs 2 x twin rooms and the master suite king bed with futon.Kitchen well equipped. Freezer … 3 drawers, so if cooking in advance and bringing food with you, you just need to be aware of this. Fridge good size. Information given beforehand excellent. "We stayed at the Nest 8 years ago and remembered it as a nice comfortable stay, which is why we decided to go back. However, this time we were quite disappointed. On the plus side - it was very clean and the shower was very good, the views of the bay were lovely but….. The comfortable sofa that was there 8 years ago and still shown in the advertised pictures has been replaced with a very uncomfortable futon type couch with some very flat cushions - either the photos need updating or something of equal standard should be in place! The kitchen is missing basic equipment - lots of bowls but only one baking tray, one large frying pan (a smaller option would be useful), I couldn’t even find a grater! There was a general lack of maintenance (broken blind cords, blown bulbs, TV in bedroom didn’t work, sash windows either hard to open or seemed to be locked). There was very limited storage space for two people for a week and the only hook was on the back of the bathroom door so nowhere to hang coats etc. I would suggest some updating or at the very least a maintenance check to rectify the issues. When you come back after a day out I’m sure most people would like somewhere comfortable to sit! "
