"The hotel is clean and looks like its been updated while maintaining a bit of the art deco vibe- very cute. The rooms are decent size as well. However, here are some of the things I did not enjoy over paying for. I paid for ocean view room and was placed on the first floor with a pool view (you couldn't see the ocean with all the pool items in the way). I also paid for the breakfast package it was about $114 for two of us for 2 days. When we arrived at check in they forgot to give us the breakfast voucher- which has the audacity to say "complimentary breakfast for two" which its not since I paid, then the voucher also states it is up to hotel staff discretion if they allow you to pick from the buffet or an entree from the menu - fine. First day, we were given the buffet which was 1) eggs 2) pork sausage 3) turkey sausage 4) potatoes 5) oatmeal or 6) banana/ apples. While it was a basic buffet it was NOT $25 worth, the options were super limited, the breakfast was 30 min late to be ready. Day two we choose the menu entree and again, very basic. Just not worth the price. The marketplace in the lobby was BARE the whole time and they never refilled it."

"The jacuzzi when used spit out some dark spot and I needed to restart the water. Some fixtures were broken or lose but the service and response of the staff was awesome. We think however that house keeping came in while we were sleeping and dropped off towels which was very strange. I would stay there again but in the newer building. Distance to the awesome finning was great and beach access was great!"

"The room was super clean, had a wonderful ocean view with balcony and the bed was sooooo comfortable! The staff were very nice, friendly and knowledgeable! The pool and deck were clean and relaxing! Highly recommend!"

"Very clean room, friendly staff, and my room had a beautiful ocean view (just like in the pic). Very conveniently located to beach and boardwalk, plus shops and restaurants, within 1-3 blocks. Also just a few blocks away (in the opposite direction) from the busier/bigger main road w/ more businesses (standard chain restaurants and stores, plus some mini golf places). It's not an upscale place, but I didn't need that -- and all other features mentioned before made me very happy with my stay! "
