"We arrived around 2pm and they allowed us to check in early which was very nice. The room was clean but we had to ask for sheets and blankets for the pull out and an additional towel (we had 4 on the reservation but I've noticed Hilton usually only puts 3 towels in a room). The reception was nice and breakfast was very good. The location was the best part-- connected to the convention center and walking distance to the Hot Springs National Park Bathhouse Row and the downtown shops/restaurants. The kids tried the pool and had fun but it got very crowded in the evening. Overall it was a very nice stay and would recommend this hotel!"

"The Arlington is not one of those todays standards luxury hotel. It is a luxury historical hotel. Doesn’t have the extra bells and whistles Close to anything that downtown hot springs has to offer. Bar in lobby area that has great live music. "

"The room was small but clean and had very poor amenities. Over $700 for (2) nights was outrageous and comparable with a motel six at the best. There wasn't a front desk for information. Everything you needed you had to request on-line. I was in a hurry threw some clothes out of the washer thinking I could iron once in the hotel . No iron or ironing board inside the room. The tv was like a puzzle and had to buy shows to watch. No iron or ironing board. No closet for your clothes and cabinet space to hold your personal belongings like toothpaste, deodorant and etc. False advertisement like its a luxury hotel and just a remodeled Motel. I had hell trying to get receipt on what I paid so I could split with my roommate. I was so embarrassed because I told my date that it was a really nice place to stay and it was like a remodeled Motel Six at best. It was clean was the only positive thing I could say. Cheap on soap and not enough towels. Over $700 for one king size room for 2 nights was outrageously expensive. I was so disappointed. When I see the price and pictures, I thought it would be a luxury hotel. No pool and you couldn't access the vending machines for ice or laundry because the door code was screwed up. I called but no one ever came to fix it. I will never stay at such an overrated place like this again. Price gouging at the finest. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially carrying a date. I was so embarrassed. "

"The place was completely miss represented. The place is in the ghetto. There were two doors to the place and neither one closed properly. We weren’t comfortable stay there we had to put the bar chairs in front of the doors. There were no rugs on the floors, no side tables, lamps, the air/ heating unit in the bedroom didn’t work. All that was in the unit was a bed, TV, small table bar with two bar stools and a cheap WalMart couch. No decorations. One small mirror in bathroom.The tub didn’t drain. I didn’t sleep any because the traffic was so loud and the outside lights were on and the light shown through the windows. It was good we only stayed one night it is not comfortable at all. It is obvious the owners are attempting to take a roach motel or former crack house and turn it into a rental property. We paid 220 for one night for zero sleep and the feeling anyone could walk in and harm us because of the neighborhood. Very disappointed."

"If you're going to Oaklawn, this is the perfect location. The home is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The home is equipped with everything you need and is definitely with walking distance of Oaklawn. "
