Pierview Unit 205 - Just One More Splash, OBX Oceanfront Condo

Pierview Oceanfront Condo's formely (Bodie Island Resort) unit 205 is an oceanfront condominium located at milepost 17 in South Nags Head, NC. This beachy 2 bedroom/2 bath condo features an extreme oceanfront view, full size kitchen, private balcony, and more! This is a non-smoking / no pets unit.

This beautiful, newly renovated unit for the 2015/2016 season, 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach front Condo is a great family vacation home. The beach is right outside your door - you can't get any closer! Both bedrooms have their own private bath with the Master bathroom having a Jacuzzi tub. The unit sleeps Six (feel free to bring an air mattress to sleep more). The master bedroom has sliding glass doors that overlook the ocean and leads to your private oversized balcony, a T-V, cable and DVD player and the second bedroom has a TV/DVD player. Towels and linens are provided (bring your own beach towels).

The living room has a beautifully decorated living area, decorative fireplace, large flat screen TV. with Blue-ray/DVD, sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, multiple end tables and coffee table. The wet bar includes a sink and wine cooler. The dining area has a rustic heart of pine table with seating for six. The open well-stocked kitchen, with electric stove, and dishwasher looks out toward the dining and living areas. Along the back wall of the unit is a sliding glass door which opens up to the great private balcony overlooking the ocean. Here you'll find more seating for relaxing, reading or watching the beautiful sunrise in the morning. Completing the unit is a full size washer and dryer.

Outside, you'll find two fabulous pools (one just of the kiddies). A playground for the kids, charcoal grill and picnic area, a half-court basketball area, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, ample parking, and an elevator. For your convenience, there is also an open outdoor shower.

Get away, relax and enjoy your mornings on the deck enjoying your morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. Spend the afternoon on the beach watching the dolphins and pelicans and swimming in the ocean. In the evenings enjoy a variety of shopping and dining opportunities or relax at home watching your favorite movie on the big screen TV.

The Condominium is in a prime location for area attractions, such as water activities, Outlet Mall shopping, Outer Banks history, aquarium and dozens of restaurants from casual to fine dining! This was the second year staying here. The location is great, the condo is in great shape. The balcony view is perfect and the beach access couldn’t be better. My family loves staying here and will plan on coming back again.

Another Great Vacation in OBX

My friend & I took a mini-vacation to celebrate our birthday. PierView was great! The condo was clean, well stocked and the ocean view was amazing. We watched the sunrise every morning from our balcony. We had to reach out to the property owner and he replied quickly. Definitely a place we would stay again.

Almost didn’t leave

We all had a great time! The condo was cozy with beach access and two pools. It’s also located between two fishing piers and there is something to do for the whole family without going far. Outer Banks is worth venturing into though and I recommend staying at PierView if you are coming down here.

The view from the balcony is fantastic. The place is homey and comfortable. A negative would be the bathrooms are showing some age and the lock on the door can be a little difficult. Close to several great restaurants and grocery stores.

Awesome Condo - Awesome View

We rented this condo for a girl's trip. What a comfortable, clean, and beautiful condo. The elevator was a plus. It was the best ocean view I have seen in years. The swimming pools were clean and most of the time not busy at all. We even meet some locals that live there and they were so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Great view to the Ocean

The place was perfect, watch dolphins in the morning the only problem we had was no coffee.The Keurig machine was broke, and the coffee machine look like it hadn’t been cleaned in about 10 years (Nasty) overall awesome place to stay .711 around the corner to get coffee.

Great location on the beach with an attentive and friendly property manager

Our family had a great time at Pierview. There is so much to do in OBX for kids/family including waterpark, parasailing, fishing. Visit nearby Manteo, cool downtown/restaurants/shops on the sound. The owner was very easy to communicate with and attentive. Mike and Lisa were great on site managers and attended to all guests needs. The price was fair, great pools, convenient elevator and a large balcony with great views of the beach and dolphins! Can’t get closer to the beach! Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Pierview

The unit was ready when promised. There were no major issues with the unit. It was clean and well stocked. The view was amazing. The elevator was a plus since I was still recovering from surgery. I would return to the same unit and recommend to friends.

Great location - right on the beach

Loved our stay. Perfect location. Right on the beach - loved sitting on our balcony. Only thing was the elevator died every day, requiring us to write in to have them look at it. It died for good on Wednesday - halfway through our stay - which definitely presents some difficulties, going up multiple flights of stairs all day.

Overall, the condo was exactly as described on line. The location and the ocean views from the deck were fabulous. Plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware.

Greedy Host

The condo was not clean. The condo was not properly maintained. There were no locks on the windows, no screens on the balcony doors and paper supplies like toilet paper or paper towels would have lasted maybe one day. The so called “host” was non-apologetic. It was clear from the beginning the host only wanted my two thousand plus dollars.The only positive thing this condo offers is a great Property Management.I’ve been coming to OBX for years and never had such an awful experience. I was embarrassed cause I had brought a guest with me. Warning! Do not rent 205 at PierView

The location is amazing! The condo is clean and decorated very well. The plumbing isnt great but the owner responded very quickly to the issue we had. It still needs some attention though.
