My wife and i had a fantastic time! The hottub was amazing on the chilly nights, sticked with games, air hockey and the pool table were a nice touch. Will definitely be back....
We had a great, quick weekend at Shady Thicket. We appreciated the King size beds, ensuite bathrooms and game room. We used the firepit each night. We enjoyed the remote location, but were close enough to visit some local distilleries and wineries.
Cozy and Remote without being too far out of town!
We loved the entire experience: I chose the cabin assuming we would be partially snowed in and it was perfect. Gorgeous views, a selection of board games and a well stocked kitchen made it really fun to stay in. Management made checking in and out super easy and the instructions were very clear about basically everything. The pictures don't do it justice; I got up early just to stare at the snow.
Family Retreat- Unplugging & Reconnecting in Nature
I booked this getaway to bring our family together and unwind after a hectic summer. Our adult children absolutely loved it. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had fantastic amenities. The guys had a blast hitting the mountain bike trails in Brown County State Park, and we all enjoyed exploring the charming shops and art galleries in Nashville.
We had a blast with the campfire setup, the meticulously maintained grounds, the awesome recreation room with games, the hot tub, grilling out, long chats on the screened porch, and even watching the wild turkeys. And the provided griddle made pancake breakfasts a breeze every morning! Our kids were unanimous - they'd love to do it all over again. This place is a real winner!

Nice but needs work
We loved the property, very nicely updated and decorated. Our two biggest complaints was the house smells very musty and no shades/blinds on any of the windows. Our good friends asthma acted up 10 minutes after we walked into the house.
