Super duper clean and great location! Must eat at the Golden Diner for breakfast just a few minutes walk from there!! Canal street to buy purses is a 6 min walk!

Great hotel close to a couple of subway trains. The room was kept st a comfortable temperature at all times. Staff was friendly. The room was soundproofed to where you could barely here the passing trains. Would definitely stay here again.

We didn't like that the air conditioning was centrally controlled, room was hot even with the fan. No coffee machines in the room and you have to pay for water for a $1. I feel they could have given out complimentary water. Rooms were small but clean! Staff were helpful!

We had a great stay at Hotel Mimosa! It was everything we needed for our trip. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, and they made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here, everyone was very kind and helpful and the property was clean and comfortable, as well as in a convenient location-just a few blocks to a subway station. We especially appreciated getting to store our luggage at the hotel after we checked out since we had a couple of hours to kill before we left town. Would stay here again for sure!

Easily a 5-star experience! Hotel Mimosa completely blew my expectations away, especially for the price we paid. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There were tables and chairs to sit and relax, plenty of pillows on the beds, and a spotless bathroom. Everything was well-maintained, and you could tell the hotel takes pride in keeping its rooms clean and comfortable. The staff was also fantastic! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. For a hotel in New York City, the price was excellent, and the overall experience was even better. I honestly wasn’t expecting much going in, but Hotel Mimosa exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC. An easy 5 stars!

Everything is nice. Hotel rooms are unconventionally small. There is no AC control in room. You need to use fan and portable heaters if you are too cold or too warm. Everything else about this hotel is very good

Overall Hotel Mimosa was a pleasant stay. The hotel is right across from the Manhattan Bridge but you really are not bothered by the noise of the trains rolling by. The lobby was clean and pleasant, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to keep our luggage in the hotel before and after we checked in so we could go out and about. The room was very small and mostly clean, there was a rather large stain on the carpet near my bed which was off putting but otherwise it served it's purpose and was comfortable. The hotel is kind of far from a subway stop so walking back at night was a little bit uncomfortable but we had no issues. I was overall pleased with our stay.

The hotel was very clean and modern with a large bathroom that included a large bathtub and an amazingly large shower head. There was good insulation from the double paned windows from the train nearby. We did not hear any exterior sounds except the occasional door across the way that would shut. The staff offered to assist with restaurant locations nearby. The neighborhood location was not great though we felt safe inside this hotel. We did not rent a car so we did not have to worry about the vehicle safety. Staff were happy and kind.

Loved Hotel Mimosa and would stay there again. Room was clean and plenty big enough. A small rack to hang clothes and a desk with plenty of charging ports. Close to the subway and plenty of food and shopping a few steps away. Temperature was comfortable in June, room would get warm if we left the curtains open during the day but the fan worked well in cooling it back down. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful with a 24 hour staffed front desk.

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating to me. The room felt a little small but the bed was big and comfortable so it balanced out. Bathroom was clean with complimentary toiletries, water temperature was great and hot after long days of exploring. The view from my room had a nice gaze of the manhattan bridge and local Chinatown. The location serves great for exploring the neighborhood as well as getting around to uptown or brooklyn via subway nearby. I thank the hotel staff for being helpful and accommodating and I will definitely be coming back.

A real hidden gem - this place is reasonably priced, very clean, and in easy walking distance of the subway and pretty much everything in lower Manhattan. The rooms are admittedly small, but unless you’re willing to pay $500+ a night, you aren’t going to do better. The staff were great, and always on hand if we needed help, and the rooms had amenities I haven’t seen in much more expensive hotels. Oh and the sound-proofing on the rooms was very good! I’d happily stay here again, without a doubt!
