"Nice location. Great breakfast. Comfy lounge bar area. Friendly enough staff. But thebroom....I know it was 27c, we was on the top floor and the room was like a sweat box even with the fan they provided. The window had a safety lock so only opened about 4 inches. It seem like a converted loft to make more space. May have been better on the lower floors? Sorry but didn't sleep well here. .aybe move the safety locks so more fresh air can come in or air condition the top floor is needed?"

"Great location, room was small but OK for 2 nights Great having air conditioning in the room Loads of parking Room very clean Tea and coffee machine worked great, went to the Norris Family Grocers (about 80yrs) for milk after the first night The pub was closed Monday and Tuesday so no breakfast available, there is a café opposite the hotel, but we went to Norris Family Grocers for Croissants Went to their sister The Chequers for an evening meal which was excellent Very quite even with a room onto the road and facing the Café (could do with some net curtains on the window?) Will be booking again for our next short break"

"This Is a Reasonably Priced Hotel with a Chilled, Relaxed Atmosphere a Nice Bar with some Different Rooms to Relax in and an Outside seating area - Set in the Heart of Ryde with Pubs Bars and Restaurants all within walking distance - the beach and the Esplanade is at the bottom of the Road and you can access much of the Island from this place either by Taxi Bus or Driving. the Staff was Really Friendly + welcoming - the only thing is some of the furniture and carpets you can see is either slightly Old and Worn/ Needs to have a Deep Clean but.... besides that the place was v. good - i would defo go again! Thumbs up from me :)"

"Warm welcome. It was a very short stay - the room we stayed in was rather tired - dripping taps, holes in linens, dodgy paintwork etc - if it had been any more than one night, I think I would have been a bit miffed. But for what we needed, it was fine. We didn't use the other facilities, bar, breakfast etc, so can't comment on those."

"Lovely old fashioned traditional hotel where guests are always right ! I was very impressed when I booked an evening meal . I had warned them I have numerous food intolerances . I hoped they would have something I could eat so was blown away when I was given a menu especially made for ME !! Ventnor is quiet and quaint . Only thing I struggled with was the room was very very warm so sleeping was tricky and it was very small for two ."
