"Staff were wonderful. Gym was very small and had an odd sign to leave the door open at all times. The shower water pressure was not great and the walls are paper thin- bring ear plugs. WiFi worked fine, room had access to DirectTv, and there was also a surprise refrigerator I didn’t think was included. Continental breakfast was pretty good."

"We had a nice stay at Black Bear Cabin. Short distance to tourist attractions. Hot tub was enjoyed and the beds were comfortable. Some things that might help improve the stay for others would be: dish towels for easier kitchen clean up, ability to plug in deck lighting, hooks or shelving in rooms for towels and clothes, end tables in the queen bed rooms, and fresh batteries for basement remote. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking. Great place for meditating and quality time. "

"Our stay here was definitely an experience. There were no sheets or pillowcases. No hot water. And the smell inside the house was something else. Like an animal or animals died in there. When I reached out to the owner I was just told the other people who stayed there left doors opened. So needless to say that went nowhere and I went and bought candles. This place has potential and it's definitely more of a bachelor pad or for hunters etc. But for a family get away, I don't know? All of the furniture is VERY uncomfortable, but the beds were tolerable. The pool is a nice touch, but the hot tub has rusty screws inside of the water. Having the horses around was the best part as they're beautiful and our puppy enjoyed watching them. This place has potential like I mentioned, though we'll not be back. Too much money spent for all the negatives. The owners seem overwhelmed as I was told they have 15 rentals and can't always keep up. Bummer!"

"Such a cozy cabin! Comfortable places to sit and sleep. Fireplace added a nice warmth and cozy addition. Everything was clean on arrival. The host gave detailed instructions for arrival and departure. It was a convenient drive to nearby attractions and towns. We really enjoyed our stay."
