Our first time at Martha's Vineyard. This hotel was very central to everything that we needed to get to for our weekend. The staff was most helpful with guiding us to bus stops, restaurants, and tourist sites. We are already planning our next trip back!

The rooms are small, dated and overpriced, you are basically paying for the location. The property is well maintained and the staff was great. My wife and I enjoyed sitting outside in the garden area at night.

The staff was absolutely great. I had asked for early check in and they accommodated me with that. 4 women with luggage second floor no elevator staff stepped up and carried our bags up and down the next day. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you Surf side

The Staff wer great including the manager as I had an issue with the charges which was fixed right away. The location wer great as well as our rooms is great too. The only comment I can tell would be the shampoo, conditioner and soap they had wer tiny. We are 4 ladies with long hair, we all get used to having those in most hotel with just big container of shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Overall its all great

Beautiful clean and spacious suite room #311. Quiet even though you are in the center of town with a view of the water. Wonderful private large Garden sitting area on site. You can walk anywhere from the Hotel. On site parking for a fee was a huge plus. We stayed for a week in July 2026 and highly recommend this Hotel.

Our stay was fantastic. The location couldn’t have been better or more convenient. They have beach towels and chairs ready for use which was extremely useful when traveling via ferry. The courtyard is well maintained with beautiful flowers and patio furniture. We did book a room with no view intentionally just to save some money so the room was a bit darker than I would have liked but all in all we had a great stay!

The staff were very nice, whether in the office or around the hotel. The parking though was terrible, the hotel must lease out some of the parking lot to big, big trucks which takes out a lot of parking spaces for guests. Overall a nice quaint place to visit.

Booked a room during high season in August, which meant it was way too expensive. The location is spot on from the Oak Bluffs ferry and Circuit Street (main shopping & restaurant areas). The rear garden is exceptional. Behind the hotel is the gravel parking lot, bike rack, bike rentals, some restaurants, ocean and next door is the Inkwell Beach Club for fine dining after 4pm and a car rental place. They have brunch on the weekend too. Great food and a well known owner (AJ) is from BET's 106 & Park where he was a co-host, whom I met by accident and he invited me and my sister to come have dinner that night (8/22) despite being sold out. Staff was super helpful! The hotel has a large ice machine in the breezeway on the first floor across from the office and a kitchenette area that has all the needed supplies like microwave, cups, plasticware, napkins, paper towels, popcorn, hot coco, coffee, creamate, and super hot & old water from a dispenser. Everyone was super helpful. The only cons is the property needs an infusion of cash to repair a lot of moisture damage on the walls and ceilings from past and current water damage from rain. The bathroom needs updating because you can see the cabinetry is made of particle board & the fan didn't work well. A/C unit was great, bedding and the bed were super nice and our room had a tall mini fridge, medium size round table and two chairs that came in handy and three good sized table lamps in the room. 3.85 Stars!!
