Relaxing and a beautiful environment even during the winter!

Incredible, breathtaking, 180 degree views of the ocean and the Cape Cod Bay stretching all the way to Provincetown from the living room!

Access to private sandy Manomet Beach. This freshly renovated house has a fun, beachy feel with new kitchen and entertaining basement. There is an outside shower, a large deck, and an amazing yard. Beautifully furnished with vaulted ceiling living room.

The beach is great for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, kayaking, bonfires, and other outdoor/water sports. Located in a quiet family neighborhood just minutes to the downtown Plymouth restaurants, shops and sights. Enjoy walking through Plymouth harbor and learn about historic Plymouth! Grab a bite to eat at the many great eateries! The house is also located about 50 minutes from Boston. What a great getaway! This will be a vacation that you won’t forget!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our family time here. My elderly parents live nearby and had the chance to sit by the ocean without needing to go down the stairs. Communication with the property owners was perfect and they are very friendly. For the younger of us- we enjoyed our trips to the beach each day and had a wonderful view to wake up to each morning. Thank you Jon, Mark, and family :)

Excellent time away!

We truly loved our time at this property. The house was clean, airy, and filled with light. The sound of the ocean reaches up the bluff to the backyard, which has a lovely deck, and a nice shaded area to relax. Our dogs enjoyed playing and relaxing outside as well. The owner was very personable and helpful - lives next door, but doesn't hover. We would definitely rent this house again.

Quarantine Escape!

This was the perfect spot for our family to getaway from home and enjoy the beautiful scenery and ocean! Our hosts we great and the house was wonderful. The steps to the beach definitely give your a great workout! Would recommend to anyone.

Eagle's Nest

Our family had a great time this summer at this location. Not fancy but has everything you need for a great beach vacation. Manager is very nice and helpful. Note that AC is only in two of the four bedrooms.

Better than It Looks and Sounds

The house is a perfect beach house. For a small house, there is a ton of room due to the basement bedroom and TV area. It is extremely clean and you cannot beat the view or location. Mark is a pleasure to work with as a host. There are 91 stairs to get to the beach, or you can walk around, but that does require you to walk back up a hill when coming back from the beach. We ended up using the stairs most days. There are landings so you can take it slow. There are many fans in the house in addition to the 2 room air conditioners so you can stay cool. The downstairs stays pretty cool. The kitchen is stocked well but was missing tupperware. We went and bought some of the throw away storage bowls and left a couple for future people to use, but they may not last. Those are just a few nit picks. I would stay here again anytime.

Beautiful home and beautiful views!

Even better than the photos on website. Everything we needed was right there. Nice market close by. Mark was a great host. He met us upon arrival and let us know if we needed anything to give him a call. It was a pleasure meeting him and his cute little granddaughter. We had more than enough room as there was just 3 of us (me, my husband and our little Yorkie, Hercules). The house is definitely large enough for a family - with 2 bedrooms on the main level, 1 bedroom on the upper level and space downstairs with extra beds, couch, tv. It was nice having a washer & dryer, dishwasher, and two bathrooms too. A perfect place to relax and do nothing - yet close enough to do some sightseeing, have dinner out, etc. We really enjoyed our time in Plymouth - especially grilling out and relaxing in the yard. Hercules loved exploring;-) Do not hesitate to book this vacation home - just as we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. Thanks Mark!! Best, Gary, Karen and Hercules ❤️

Relaxing vacation with stunning view of the ocean

The family and I had such a relaxing vacation at the cottage. The views from the yard were stunning of the ocean. If you can drag yourself out of bed early enough you can see a beautiful sunrise across the ocean. The stairs that lead to the beach are only 1 house away. The beach is clean. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Mark lives nearby and is very quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this place.

Mama's birthday

This property was very inviting for our family. It was cozy and clean and had everything we needed.The view was gorgeous, the beach was clean and just beautiful. I loved having my dog with me. She loved it there too! Mark responded immediately with any questions. The visits were easy to Plymouth and Cape Cod. I truly want to go back some day. Thank you Mark and family!

Quaint cottage, Great location, GORGEOUS views!

Our family of 6, 3 adults and 3 teenagers had an amazing vacation staying at this little cottage located on a gorgeous bluff overlooking Cape Cod. Having suffered through a Chicagoland winter, we loved the 68 to 74° weather. We enjoyed walking down the MANY private community steps, located just one house down (great workout btw) to stroll the beautiful sandy beach. My brother-in-law caught many striped bass fish right from the shoreline. During our one week stay, we visited Martha’s Vineyard for a day trip and soaked up some sun on the deck of the Ferry ride. We loved visiting Boston (about 1 hour away) for one day where we walked part of the historical Freedom Trail and got sidetracked by the city’s beautiful Greenway! We stopped by Plimouth Plantation for a few hours (that’s how they spell it) where they have re-created the original Pilgrim settlement. The highlight of the trip was definitely traveling to Provincetown, where we chartered a private whale watching boat for just our family. We saw so many huge humpback whales, including a calf! We could actually feel the mist from their spray!! This house has one bedroom located upstairs where you can see the ocean in the morning. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. One has a double bed and the other has two twins. There is one more “bedroom” located in the basement with two twin beds but nobody in our family was comfortable staying in that basement room, so they shared the bedrooms upstairs. This cute, no frills cottage provides the basics for everything you need for cooking- pots, pans, plates, grill and a few spices (bring your own coffee). There were sheets, blankets and plenty of towels. Having the washing machine really helped as well! Mark the owner lives right next door and was very responsive, yet gave us our privacy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience in this quaint cottage and in this beautiful area of our country! We will be back for more whale watching and clam chowder!

Perfect Location!

We completely enjoyed our vacation for Mothers birthday week to New England! The home is centrally located and we enjoyed exploring the Cape and surrounding areas. The breathtaking sunrise views are amazing so don’t miss out on these and the wildlife was always a surprise to sit and enjoy every morning! Being on the beach front, we were surprised to see groundhog, gray squirrels, turkey, chipmunks, rabbits and many birds! The home is very comfortable, had everything we needed to make our visit feel just like home. Mark was a very gracious Host! We would definatly stay here again!!

a real gem, better than photos

Our large family stayed here for a week, and it was glorious. We were all amazed at the view from the back yard. The little neighborhood is charming and low key. And the beach down below is long and private, and the water of Cape Cod Bay was crystal clear. The house was clean, comfortable and sunny, and the real lucky ones got the upstairs bedroom, with huge picture windows for the sunrise. We got great fish and lobsters from the ' lobster pound' nearby. It was great to have our dog with us, too. Mark was very accommodating. We would go back.

Great Home, Views and Convenience

Lovely Cape Cod Vacation Get-Away

The house was very comfortable, and accommodated 4 couples and a toddler very nicely. As advertised, the view is amazing. The back yard is a nice size for family activities, and the deck is also a great size. We had a very nice time, despite record cold weather for early June. Lots of games were at the house Also - plenty of beach chairs! We brought our own, but they weren't needed. I would highly recommend this property.

Great location & owner.

Wonderful extended stay for me and my family from the end of March until early May. Convenient to Manomet (2-miles), Plymouth (~10-miles) and even for excursions to Cape Cod and surrounding areas. Mark Rivers was a great landlord and really easy to work with regarding whatever items came up during our stay. Eagle's nest was clean and neat and the view was incredible! Got to see some Right whales in the distance from the backyard. Thank you Mark for a great place to stay!

Beautiful Beach House With A Spectacular View

Our extended family enjoyed this beach house for a week in July. The house is very clean and well equipped with items that enhanced our experience. We appreciated the availability of the well maintained outdoor shower, located in a private yet convenient corner of the yard. The best feature of this property is the breathtaking view. Whether inside or out, the view is spectacular! The owners were extremely helpful, from the initial inquiries regarding booking the property, to the personal greetings upon arrival, to the prompt responses to questions that we had during our stay. I would definitely rent this house again.

Fantastic Family House

My family and I spent a week at the Eagles Nest beach house and it was awesome! Such beautiful views, easy beach access, and great amenities. The owner even provided us with baby gates, high chairs and some great kids beach toys. Totally above and beyond great hosts. Thanks again Mark!

Wonderful ocean front home with fabulous views

Our stay in this property could not have been better. Mark was quick to respond to all questions. There were beach chairs to borrow, plenty of linens and towels, and it was very clean! Views were outstanding. While not direct beach access (stairs are 1-2 houses down the street, as well as a level walk to beach about 5 mins down the beach for the very young or old), the bluff overlook afforded us the pleasure of ocean front for those days we just wanted to chill without doing the sand or water. The water was cold for us Kentuckians, although the kids did get in. The property was listed accurately, the basement bedroom and living area was great for the teenagers. I actually think the photos do not do it justice, bright and airy. The upstairs bedroom had outstanding views. There were plenty of fans in all rooms to augment the ocean breeze through the windows. There was full size washer and dryer, as well. The property was also centrally located for any approximate 1 hour trip to Boston, cape cod, buzzards bay, as well as a short drive to plymouth to access whale watching and the ferry to Provincetown. Plymouth had MANY great restaurants, get lobster rolls!! Recommend the whale watch and P town for a day, as those were our highlights. Highly recommend this property and owners!!! Thanks for a great trip.

Relaxing Getaway

The house worked out perfectly for our three generation, six person family group. The pictures and listing proved to be quite accurate. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the comfortable décor and atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the seaside atmosphere. Just sitting and watching the bay as the light changed, boats came and went, and clouds rolled by was entertainment in itself! Everyone enjoyed the beach, especially after dinner walks along the water. The location was also excellent for easy access to both Plymouth and Cape Cod. The owners were helpful and welcoming, and almost everyone we passed walking in the neighborhood or on the beach seemed very friendly. On the practical side, we found the kitchen and bathrooms to be well stocked, appreciated the outdoor furniture and grill, loved the great ventilation when we opened windows all around the house, and used the information book and local brochures to help plan our activities. The only bad part was having to leave such a fun place!
