The boat is really fun, and the neighborhood is awesome. However, we had a handful of problems with the boat. The air conditioning was not working most of the time. It was about 85 degrees in one of the rooms which rendered it basically useless. The other rooms were typically in the mid to high 70’s. There was also a condensation leak that sent water through the floor into the living room area. All in all it just wasn’t a comfortable stay.
This ship was a great trip and stay for us! Me and my 3 grown children came and stayed here celebrating ones birthday. There was plenty of room for all of us and kitchen was great for cooking, patios are great for a lowkey dinner or coffee! There was 1 minor issue and maintenance was on top of it and never caused us a hiccup in our stay or plans! Will tell everyone to stay here and will stay again!
Fantastic property with a great location! Walkable to grocery store, shopping and one of a kind restaurants. Tough to beat coffee in the mornings on top of the boat watching the harbor come to life. Those in our conference group who stayed in hotels were jealous of our location and space, not to mention the unique experience of boat living for a week.
Amazing location, super clean and well laid out. The decor was also very nice and the boat itself was super interesting. Would 100% stay here again. If anyone is concerned about seasickness, I can vouch for this not being an issue. The only time we noticed meaningful rocking was during a literal Nor'Easter and even then mostly just the top deck.
My coworkers and I were in town for a convention. Instead of staying in a hotel, we opted for this unique lodging opportunity. BEST DECISION EVER! Great accommodations in a terrific area. 100% recommended.
The property was great! The communication was great. The refrigerator wasnt working properly and it was fixed almost immediately. We were very impressed by everything. Thank you, Boston!
Great location and awesome boat, however, a little dirty. IE..living room chairs and top deck floor, chairs, table. Lower cabin / bunk extremely hot. No AC.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Patriot. it was a very unique experience and a fantastic way to enjoy Boston. The location was phenomenal. The Patriot is like a tugboat and a yacht made a baby! We enjoyed the top deck. We saw very big ships! There are four beds. All comfortable. All had nice views of the city and harbor. We recommend it to other families wanting to stay in Boston. There are very good restaurants nearby within walking distance. It's next to the North End. and if you like history the USS Constitution is a 10 minute drive with moderate traffic. We stayed on the Patriot during a hot summer week. The air-conditioning was so nice and refreshing for most of the rooms. The lowest bedroom was in need of the 2 fans provided with the shades drawn to keep it comfortable. We kept the shades drawn in the bridge bedroom as well. But overall it was a great stay.
