"This cabin is huge! There was more than enough space for our families to sleep comfortably, get ready with ease, and gather together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The location is ideal—just a short, easy drive to June Mountain and town. We loved having sledding right outside the door, and the views are absolutely stunning. There truly isn’t a bad view anywhere in the house!"

"My family and I had a great time this past weekend. My wife, two children and I enjoyed the great location in town and also the quick drive to the slopes. It was nice to have the kitchen available for a quick meal or the option to walk across the street to a restaurant. Parking was also available in the driveway which was a plus. We would stay here again on our next trip to June Lake. My kids also enjoyed the loft to hangout in. Thank you for a nice stay and weekend. "

The People from June Lake and June Mountain Ski Resort amazed me with their vigor to help and the authentic spirit of the priceless jewel they have. We will be back and love them as much as we can. The Staff for the cabin were awesome and everywhere we went we were met with smiles from The Beautiful People from June Lake and June Mountain. "As this original unit, Gull House, was listed as 3 bedroom and was only 2 and a loft, Rainbow Ridge let us change to Johnson Suite #2. This unit was really nice and we were happy to have what we signed up for and pay the difference. However, after checking in, communication was beyond unacceptable. We were expected to troubleshoot the heat system (would not go above 62) and smoke alarm (beeped low battery at 2am) Calls were not returned and office was closed when stated it would be open.2 nights of cold before heaters were brought which did not work in the bedroom. Connie just dropped off a battery (for us to install) that did not solve the problem and we figured out ourselves that we had to turn off the breaker on the smoke alarm (safety issue). When asked about kindling and fire starter, we were told we had to provide that. Really? In past Vrbo rentals there were after hour numbers to call for such things and a handyman would fix any problems. I understand thermostats and appliances can malfunction and but the fact we were ignored and had to stress was what made this a bad experience. I would like the owner of to know about this as Rainbow Ridge really treated us poorly. I have more specific details, such as call logs, if needed."

"Shabby is too kind of a word for this poorly maintained place. The pictures attached show just some areas of neglected condo. We paid just under five hundred dollars a night for a place with stained carpet in bathroom and awful furniture. Yes, the bathrooms are carpeted including under the toilets. Make sure you wear shoes in the bathrooms and put them on immediately when you step out of the shower. Oh, and the bed in the primary bedroom was HORRIBLE. Neither of us got much sleep the first night. You can feel the springs on the sides of the bed bulging. The pillows are so old and flat they were more like mats than pillows. We ended up sleeping in the twin beds the next night which were better, but not too much better. Oh, and all the beds had really, really old, gross JCP acrylic blankets. Romantic, no?! Oh- and the owners printed the Wi-Fi information on the key tag for your convenience. But it won’t work because the site and the password weren’t correct. Hmmm, wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out. Just call the Managers at Rainbow Ridge, they’ll give you the correct info. PS - we couldn’t get the TV to work either so we watched movies on our laptops. On the plus side? Everything was very, very clean (except the walls and carpet!) The housekeepers were masterful at making this tired old place with its 30 year old (at least) fixtures look as clean as possible.Another plus? The June Lake area is spectacular and the location is great."
