"If I could give this “whatever this is” a negative-star rating I’d obliged. 1. Terrible Customer Service. Front desk clerk lacks professionalism and courtesy, they forget people are paying for a service and experience not your baggage from home. 2. You pay a hefty some for a wedding at the venue and they can’t accommodate a late check out, I had to get an Airbnb nearby for my wife to get ready for our wedding. 3. We decided to get their Breakfast, they up-charge fried dumpling when you want a get it in place of toast with a omelette absolutely ridiculous. 4. Cleaners come knocking on your door if you go a min over your checkout time. Absolutely mind-boggling. 5. Place is old and run down. Don’t waste your money, you can get some views with better quality and customer service don’t waste you or your family’s time. "

"This was a very impromptu booking and it was a smooth check in. The location is great. Nice clean pool and pool bar with drinks for purchase. Clean establishment. Reliable air conditioning. Onsite eats for purchase and a convenience store/shop."

"My father and I recently returned from a stay at Sandcastles - and I would wholeheartedly recommend the resort to anyone looking for a very friendly, local, and down-to-earth stay! As we first arrived, check-in was quite simple and staff was very friendly and swift to help us learn. Every day&night the resort had great food options either up top at the Silver Sands restaurant, or at the bar near the pool; the Castle Blu, with good drinks and great staff at both locations! The Itadone Variety store also came in quite handy for some emergency late night snacks, and again the fellows who ran the store were very accomodating and helpful! I'll also mention that Sandcastles sits right next to the entrance to the ORBB- a rather nice, cute, and secure beach! Finally I'm going to shout out a bunch of amazing people who made our trip so great (in no particular order) - An-Mari at the front desk who was always happy to provide information/assist us with any issues we had, Both of the amazing Marie's who were day/night shift bartenders at the Castle Blu, Mark the chef at Castle Blu, Andrew the artist, Rasta Demus, and my man Kevin - who always kept us entertained, assisted us with anything we needed, and provided plenty of laughs & friendship, Kerry-Ann, our fantastic waitress every time we went to the Silver Sands restaurant, who always looked well after us, Finally, Jenine the great housekeeper, Paul the property manager, and Syd the lifeguard always made sure our stay was very clean!"

"Jasmine's accommodations were the perfect fit for my family and I to enjoy our extended stay in Ocho Rios. The shared spaces (kitchen, living room, bathroom) and bedrooms were super comfortable, cozy and inviting - allowing us to rest and relax at 'home' during rainy days. And the proximity to town - an easy 10 minute walk at most - motivated us to come and go as we pleased. Above all else, Jasmine herself was the best possible host, providing helpful information prior to our arrival and inmediate responses to questions we had during our stay. Anyone seeking a safe, comfortable and joyous stay in Ochio Rios would be wise to stay here! PS. Jasmine also provided us with contacts to reliable drivers who picked us up at airport, took us to different locations, etc. 100% great all around!!!"
