"This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are cleaned every day, a kettle is in the room with an assortment of tea and coffee. Their breakfast is very nice, with juices, breads and pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. A very attentive staff. It’s very easy to catch the bus into the city, and back. When we couldn’t get the heat to turn off, they were there immediately to fix it. On the last night, we tried to contact the staff to let them know we would be leaving very early, but they didn’t answer their “buzzer” or bell, so we didn’t know what to do with the keys. We hope they found them! Besides that, it was a perfect, safe stay."

"This was our 5th annual 7+ day stay at the hotel. We love the amenities, hotel staff, location, Breakfast Buffet, "Fun" library! Just one bothersome aspect, consistent through the 5 years: The motion-sensor lights in toilet and shower! A night-light would be enough! When one gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the bright light is jarring and can make it difficult to get back to sleep."

"It was a pleasant surprise to be offered champagne upon check-in, excellent in room coffee availability with coffee grinder. There were snacks available in the room as well. It was nice to find a miniature gift candle at our door when we came home from the day out because we had requested Green service that day… (No need to come and clean our room). The location worked out well. The sliding wooden “door”to cover the windows gave a complete black out!"

"Likes: Location Castle views Dislikes: Bed was very hard Feathers... duvet, pillows... Multiple times asking for extra towels only for housekeeping to take them and not replace them. The heat! I understand that old buildings don't have AC but a screen in the door or something could help."
