"The shower wasn’t working no pressure because it is a very old building they said so they couldn’t help or give us another room. Very dusty lots of cobwebs. However staff was so lovely beds were so comfortable and excellent location :))"

"Grebe Cottage is perfect for all weathers; it is extremely well equipped, tastefully decorated, and easy to access. Bonchurch is an ideal location for visiting the rest of the island, whilst being in a quiet spot just off the main road.Ruth is very conscientious in communicating with visitors and clearly takes pride in the accommodation.We did, occasionally, find parking a challenge however it is worth noting that there is a car park down towards the beach where it is possible to buy a permit to cover several days.We will definitely consider staying at the cottage again."

"Overlooking the sea. Our room was clean and tidy. Fresh. The bar was great. The whole place was amazing value. The most amazing thing was the staff. Harry and his mate on reception, the lady at the bar , the chap doing breakfast and the lovely young woman at reception. Couldn’t have been more helpful. They let me put my bike in storage. All great"

"We have just stayed at Pebble Cottage for a week. The good points were, a lovely sea view with plenty of seating area, and a great location close to beach and shops. The not so good points, no character to the cottage, the kitchen is small and not well designed as you can’t open the dishwasher fully to load it with where it’s positioned. The bathroom is modern but again not well designed, the sink position mean water spills out, and the shower screen is small so easy to get the floor wet. The Cottage was fully equipped with everything needed. It’s a shame there was no complimentary milk, tea and coffee on arrival, this can make all the difference. We were lucky with parking and managed to find spaces on the street. No major issues but not the most comfortable or well decorated property we have stayed in."
