"When I arrived, the grounds were inviting and very well maintained. Upon entrance to the lobby, it looked very clean and updated, and the front desk agent was very pleasant. After that, it pretty much went downhill. I stayed in room 107 on the first floor. The hallway had a lot of wear and tear. Since this was on the first floor, a lot of customers may enter from the side door so I can understand why this particular hallway would be more challenging to keep maintained. But as I enter the room, it got worse. One of the first things I noticed were the baseboards were coming away from the wall from water damage. This was in the bathroom and the bedroom areas. Also the bottom of the refrigerator door was rusty. It almost looked like the room had been flooded at sometime or another. The furniture was very worn and torn. The bedskirt had what look like white paint splattered on it…. I didn’t want to check. The TV did not work. It would turn on, but it said no signal. There were no instructions for the TV. Also looked for an additional remote, but none was found. Also, the thermostat did not seem to work. The temperatures had dropped to the low 40s and I switched the thermostat to heat, but the heat never came on. The pictures can illustrate better than I can. In words the conditions found in room 107."

"Friendly staff. Hotel under construction so that was an inconvenience. Pool not maintained well. The breakfast was not a great experience. Nothing hot except pancakes. No hot eggs, meat, potatoes either. That was disappointing."

"Staff asked if we would like the room cleaned and refreshed in between nights. We said yes. It was not done. When we mentioned this at check out nothing was offered other than a “sorry”. It would have been very nice to have fresh towels!! Had to call for maintenance on the shower. Mattress was very comfortable!"

"Our room was clean but the bathroom need some attention. Stopped up drains, mold around drains. Towels are dingy and some stains on linens. Ceiling tiles had water stains. And not a very professional paint job!"

"The hotel was what I expected for the price. No disappointments there. The bar, on the other hand was a totally different story. I was there with three other couples for a medical school graduation for two of our children. My wife’s ex-husband and wife made it to the bar and so did the brides family. The bartender would not let me open a tab for me and my wife and said they could only accommodate two tabs per table. I wasn’t even sitting at an adjacent table. I went to the bar and she acted like it would be a problem for me to pay cash there. She asked if I wanted a glass or the bottle for the beer and I said a glass so she handed me the bottle of beer and the glass. I took my wife drink and my glass and beer to the table when I poured the beer in my glass she came by about three minutes later gave me a mean look and just took the empty bottle. Complain to the manager on duty and she never really even apologized. I know this could sound like sour grapes, but it’s not. It was already an awkward situation for me and there was no way I was going to ask my wife’s ex-husband or the parents of the bride to pay for my drinks. The manager told me I should’ve done that and then just Venmo them the money. I work in customer service and this is so extremelyUnacceptable."
