The CBD is less than a 5 minute drive away and a short 30 minute walk. The CBD boasts some of Orange's best restaurants, cafes, bars, parks and shopping. The very popular Robin Hood Hotel is less than a minutes drive and is great for dinner, drinks and has a large kids playground.

We spent a very pleasant few nights at Bartlett's Cottage during a weekend away in Orange. The accommodation was very well presented, clean and a good location for trips into town or daytripping around the local villages and wineries.

Clean, cosy and quiet

This small studio was all we needed for a two night stay. Neat and clean with an adequate bathroom. No problems at all. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a bed in Orange in a quiet location.

Bathroom/Shower, bedroom excellent. Kitchenette small, which you can work around but has medium lounge in it that takes up too much space. There is no sink in the kitchenette, but plenty of crockery and cutlery, a jug, toaster. Only 2 towels issued for a 4 day stay for 2 people. No dishwashing detergent, and a box of tissues with 1 tissue left in it! Web site should have more detail/photos of kitchenette. Hosts were good, and gave us extra towels.

This property is small but clean, and the listing is accurate. It works well as a simple place to sleep, though it’s not ideal for longer stays since there’s no real cooking setup beyond a microwave, and dishes must be washed in a tub in the bathroom sink.The highlight was Janet, the owner. She was kind, friendly, and genuinely cared about our comfort. The cleaners also did a great job when the unit was cleaned.Unfortunately, our experience with the property management company, in particular Stuart, was disappointing. We were initially offered a long-term discount, but after paying our deposit, we were told it had been offered in error and would not be honored. We were also told weekly cleaning was included, yet our first clean wasn’t until 10 days after arrival.When the internet wasn’t working, management simply referred us to the owner. On another occasion, the cleaners left fresh linens at the door while we were out. We were told they’d return later, and our follow-up message asking when they would be back was left unanswered.The unit also felt more cramped than necessary due to extra furniture.Overall, Janet the on site owner was wonderful, but the property management’s lack of communication and customer service made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
