"Lovely stay at the Woodlands. The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer people. It's a nice change from the homogenised and impersonal experience you normally find at the typical chain hotels.
The setting of the place was so nice aswell. Lovely trees, beautiful countryside and the nice older buildings... it made it feel unique.
Breakfast was excellent and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed. I would stay here again! "
"We were on a 3 week tour of England researching our family roots and history. We were purposely looking for stays in smaller villages/towns. This fit the bill perfectly.
