The Tides Laguna Beach

"Cute property and very clean. Great convenient location right up the hill from downtown. We used the beautiful coastal walk to go back and forth from town to the hotel ( which is only a short walk up a small hill) Had a lovely stay, would recommend!!"

"Joshua at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. Your hotel needs some updating and better cleaning. First of all, the shower had hardly any water pressure. The shower containers with shampoo, body wash and conditioner were/are broken. I had sand in my bed sheets, making me think they had not been changed. The facility had hardly any amenities. No paper to write notes to staff. The blankets and bedding really are not the best. But for the two nights we were there, I persevered. The best thing for us was the location to the beach and the campsite where our friends were staying. Parking was very convenient."

"The lady at night was very helpful nice employee. The place is a little old. Problem with the door closing. The environment outside was okay met a few interesting people out there but it was all right. Even when our vehicle broke down it was people willing to help us out. What I want to stay there again maybe not because it's too far for the sightseeing and very secluded not many sites to look at around that Red Roof inn. Thank you."

"Great location. Close to downtown and to the beach, everything within a few minutes walk. The home was clean and well cared for. The host was responsive with communication. If you have younger children who like stairs, bring a gate to block them off. Would stay here again."
Oceanfront Views Get-Away Carbon Beach - Starfish

"Absolutely stunning beachfront location. You can hear the waves lapping up off the front porch. Major down side is no air conditioning and trust me, you need it for mid August heat. They do have two vornado fans for your use. The bedroom windows don’t have screens so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open all night and it got hot to sleep. They have tiny ants in all the rooms, they didn’t really bother me. Check in was seamless and off street parking was great. There is a coffee maker but no coffee or tea so make sure you bring some if that’s your jam. Bed wasn’t super comfortable but not horrible either. Location was perfect, walking distance to the pier."

"The most amazing views in a very comfortable home that has everything you need. Sitting on the deck watching the river is incredibly relaxing. We would love to come back to this property in the future."
