"We were rather underwhelmed with this W property. The room was “tired” and the towels were in comical “Hotel 6 on the interstate” condition. Pretty weird (and gross) how several rounds of towels were equally old, tattered and grey. Quite a disappointing W experience after the brilliant W São Paulo stay we had in November. Overpriced and underwhelming."

"Centrally located in beautiful Polanco, walking distance from many attractions, cafes, parcs. Staff was welcoming and kind, rooms are clean and comfortable, the hotel is in a beautifully restored ancient mansion, with terrace and as its name says is, an abundance of colourful orchids. Would definitely come back! "
