- Rodgers Post is a heritage style cottage, newly built, with elevated bush, mountain, and sea views. Bird song include tui, kaka, rosella, quail, and kereru. Wake to Mt Manaia and surrounding mountains as well as a view of the bay. Located just 20 mins from Whangarei city and 1 min to Parua Bay village, (4 Square, 2 x cafes, bottle store, and a garage) with the famous Parua Bay family tavern and boat ramp just down the road. What to do: beautiful beaches, famous walks/hikes, diving and fishing all within easy driving.
