"We enjoyed our stay. The run runner restaurant was delicious and perfect for breakfast and lunch. Convenient bar right next to pool. Construction was going on which should have been disclosed because the noise was annoying. But I’m sure it will be beautiful when done. "

"This property , while decent, is not at a 4-star level. Basic is how I would describe it. The photos are quite miss leading. You can tell this is a very old property and it’s been tried to be dressed up a bit with some paint but that’s about it. The lobby is quite nice but that aesthetic stops there and doesn’t translate to the rooms. Our room had lots of fruit flies in it or some other little bugs flying around. The bathroom needs gutting as it seems it’s from the 80s with barely any light over the counter. If you are looking for basic this place is fine, but it’s not 4-star level. "

"Casa Dolphina is a beautiful home on the water. We were eight women on a girls getaway and very much enjoyed our time there. Fabienne and Gerold were very responsive to our questions and very kind in making us feel welcome. We had several theme dinners and found the kitchen, dining room and big table in the sunroom very nice for our preparations and meals. The bedrooms were comfortable. The eclectic decor was very interesting, with something different and unusual to see in every room. The cooler temperatures did not allow us to take advantage of the pool and outdoor amenities but we could certainly see how much fun could be had in warmer weather. Families with small children would have to be very vigilant with the open access to the pool and dock/water. The water view and sunsets were beautiful! This is a very beautiful and comfortable home. It is not a new home. There are areas that could be freshened up but it was clean and very comfortable. "The place had some nice touches such as champagne toast upon arrival and the tastings on some of the nights at the neighboring property. The pools were nice and the food and drink were very good. I was disappointed in the room itself. I felt it was not up to the standards for the price charged. It seemed run down and dingy with stains on the walls and cabinets. The shower head was partially clogged, resulting in very slow water flow. The bed was too small (my mistake for thinking a double would be the same as queen). The balcony was not really a usable balcony but a stepout. It was very narrow, fitting a chair however not room for your legs unless you turned the chair sideways. Overall it was a nice stay, but the room was not what was expected. Went exploring other properties that were in the same price range and they looked more upscale than this one. Would try someplace else next time."

"Room was terrible! AC did not work, Bathroom door knob was barely hanging on. Toilet was nasty upon check in, checked out the next day and moved to another venue. Completely dissatisified!"
