"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. The villa was spotlessly clean thanks to the four housekeepers (Putu, Dea, Komang, Wayan) and the gardener/pool cleaner (Ngurah). The private chef (Putu) prepared delicious meals and deserts (chocolate black forest and lemon tart) for us. We loved the private beach club with its own bale and infinity pool overlooking the ocean, as well as the private staircase leading straight down to the beach.Thank you to Wayan for driving us to Canggu, just a short distance from Cemagi, where there’s a lively foodie scene, surf spots and shops and for organising and providing free transport for all our excursions in Bali.Communication with the host went smoothly, from booking right through to departure. Balian is a small and nice village reachable with just a few minuteswalk, where everyone is friendly and relaxed."
