"Our stay was only for one night but it was pleasant. Our room was very spacious and clean. There were plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet. The only minus in our room was no biscuits on the tea/coffee tray:-( Parking was not a problem on site. All in all would recommend and we will definitely use it again when visiting family in the area."

"Really cosy, quaint room a stone's throw from the station, and surprisingly quiet despite the World Cup going on across the road. Even though I arrived and left outside staff hours, checking in and out was smooth thanks to clear instructions emailed in advance and the good, old-fashioned room keys instead of cards. They even provided a fan to survive the last of the heatwave. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was very poorly staffed throughout our stay. 75%+ of tables had dirty glasses / empty bottles that needed clearing. All draught options were off at the bar and we were charged 20% service for opening 2 bottles of beer. The spa was ok but very tired. The changing rooms had a lot of broken plastic worksurfaces. The pool itself was ok but had clearly had a rushed refurbishment with a poorly fitting pool liner. It all felt quite claustrophobic. The jacuzzi was way over-chlorined...

"This was not a good stay. I walked into the bar and it was full of people swearing and shouting. I felt uncomfortable asking for my room booking. The hotel is damaged, carpet worn through, rooms were not clean, damaged furniture, stained pillows and duvet, shower was mouldy, there are signs saying if you eat your own food in the room you are fined and signs saying if you are caught with drugs you are thrown out. "Staff were all very super helpful and friendly. Claire made our stay very special, her kindness and attention to customer service was the best I have experienced in a very long time anywhere. A great place to stay for a short break, clean rooms, comfortable beds, unlimited breakfast. Good value for money, 15 min walk to bus services from road behind hotel to station and shopping centre. "The Clarendon was a convenient Hotel on bus route to Greenwich Sight seeing areas, Cutty Sark,Maritime Museum, Queens House and The Observatory. Lovely big room. Good selection at breakfast, friendly staff, overall a great stay"

"Excellent location as we were watching a show at the O2 arena. A piece of history in the middle of high rise buildings. It’s been lovingly restored and maintained with quirky design elements to it. They had great breakfast choices and had a relaxed atmosphere. I love these kinds of places. Just the relaxing weekend my husband needed."
