"Great hotel: clean, calm and well organised. Staff across the board were all excellent, with a special mention to the lady on reception who came to my aid in a moment of clothing crisis! I was here on business but would definitely choose this hotel if I was visiting the area for pleasure."

"Nice big room, kept perfectly clean by the staff with a good size bathroom and air con. A comfortable hotel with easy access to major roads and train stations. A marstons pub is co located with a range of beers, bar food and carvery. They do breakfast there, but we didnt use it for breakfast. "

"Checked in Sunday evening at 8:45. Went to bar, ordered drink, about to order food. Power cut. Emergency lighting for rest of night, no food, limited everything else. No water pressure so couldn't shower etc. Staff didn't know what was going on or what to do. It was a problem just at the hotel, not the local area. No explanation or apology at check out."

"I've stayed here a few times and it's always been fine. The hotel is quiet, in a nice location, and not too far from major roads. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the showers are hot. One note to the hotel staff: Please stop using mothballs, they're banned and cause cancer. And they don't smell good."

"A nice cottage set in lovely well maintained grounds, with a swimming pool and a hot tub too. We used this cottage as a base to explore the local area and found some nice places to visit.Dartford Central park is nice with a lake, café, exercise equipment, play area for kids etc. We also went to checkers pub for Sunday lunch which nice but you need to book."
