"Not up to expectations after reading reviews. Room on ground floor was clean and bed was comfortable, however we had no privacy as it overlooked builders yard/merchant and only window covering was a blackout blind, so if we wanted natural light had to have blind open, letting everyone see into room. After showering had to get dressed with no natural light. Needs nets at window. Only mirror was in the bathroom, need one in the bedroom. Towels very small and only one bath robe. Bathroom basin plug hole was broken (stuck on closed) No Tea/Coffee facilities in room. Room info said Coffee Makers available on request, however when I asked at reception, was told No, the coffee available was in the lobby. The lobby coffee was tepid and weak, really not worth drinking and TBH when I wake in the morning all I want to do is relax with a coffee, without having to get dressed and walk to the lobby, just to get coffee, especially when its not worth drinking anyway!!! Breakfast reviews mention restaurant next door and how amazing the breakfast was. So I was looking forward to a lovely birthday breakfast, But unfortunally for us it was a very different experience!!! Breakfast was in the Hotel and very disappointing (we were not the only ones to think so) very basic, waffles, pastries and yogurt, my Husband doesn't eat any of these, so had to forgo breakfast. We didn't use the fitness room, but did enjoy the pool and hot tub. Receptionist on morning of departure was very pleasant"

"The house is absolutely beautiful. The decor, outdoor spaces, and games were great for our group (two young kids and a few adults). Wish we were staying longer so that we could enjoy it all. I saw this mentioned in another review so was not caught off guard, but the neighbor does have a lot of project cars and stuff - it just felt a bit intrusive to drive through. As the other reviewer said, don't let that deter you. The house is totally worth it, and plenty of privacy once we were there. Would absolutely stay again."

"This was just the place we needed for some peace and quiet. Since our stay was in early spring we didn’t get to see the beautiful garden and yard but can tell once it blooms it will be gorgeous. The view from the deck is awesome. Watched an eagle adding to the nest not far from the deck. The kitchen is very well stocked and the bathroom has any toiletries you may need. The cottage was homey and welcoming. Kayla was the perfect hostess. Hope to come back and see the garden some day. "

"Beautifully modernized cabin with perfectly curated design to make it feel cozy with modern amenities. The location was fantastic with gorgeous views of the river. This was such a wonderful place for our extended family to gather as we celebrated our mom’s life. Nicole could not have been a more supportive during our stay. "Our stay at this beautiful little cottage set in an idyllic background complete with quiet mornings, fresh strawberries and visiting chipmunks was a much better alternative to staying in cramped hotel while my family was visiting Silverwood theme park. I give our stay full marks and my only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses on the beds. I would recommend this home to any families visiting the area."
