"This is an absolutely prime location to see Edinburgh for the first time. It’s a 3 minute walk from the drop off and pick up for the Airlink shuttle stop which is cheap and easy to get to and from the airport. Then you’re right on royal mile with quick walks to all the sights. The staff was super kind and helpful and the room was spacious and clean."

"A lovely, quiet hotel tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Edinburgh’s city centre. We felt that the room was good value for money and was clean with very comfy beds. The breakfast buffet had a decent variety of options and was tasty. The only thing that you may want to consider (not marking down the hotel for this, just a note) is that the walk from the main city centre with the most popular tourist attractions and train station is about a 20-25 minute walk either over Calton Hill (very beautiful, but unpaved in places and quite steep) or approaching from the other direction which is ever so slightly longer and still somewhat uphill, but paved. This didn’t really bother us once we were settled in, but we did wish that we had booked an Uber or a taxi when we initially had to walk from the train station to the hotel with our suitcases. Just something to keep in mind! Thank you Voco Edinburgh for a great stay!"
