"We had such a great time at Castello di Monterone. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay—always available and super welcoming. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our room was spotless, the shower was fantastic, and everything felt very comfortable. The castle itself is beautiful and full of charm—it really feels like a special place. It’s also just a few minutes’ drive from the old town, which made exploring easy. We also really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was delicious—we tried the crocchette di patate, tartare di manzo al coltello, tagliolini al ragù, lasagna vegetariana, crema di pomodoro, and costolette di agnello. Everything was tasty and the restaurant staff were just as lovely as the rest of the team. Breakfast was great too, with lots of choices and everything fresh. And on hot days, the swimming pool was a real treat. All in all, a fantastic experience. We’d definitely love to come back."

"Beautiful scenery and a welcoming staff.The hotel's central location makes it easy to visit the Basilica of St. Francis and other Assisi attractions. Wonderful views, particularly at sunrise and sunset, of the Umbrian valley and the expansive terrace. Good Breakfast: With so many options, the breakfast buffet is frequently cited as a plus."

"A wonderful stay in Perugia. Parking was easy whey you found it. All safely undercover and locked up. Easy walking into town but uphill so take it easy. There terrace restaurant was good. Do not go to the Prior restaurant across from the hotel it was not good food. We had a wonderful time in Hotel Priori Secret Garden"

"As a woman traveling solo through Italy, I often don’t know where I’ll end up by nightfall. Around 10pm, I booked this place last minute, unsure if anyone would even be available to help me. When I arrived, there was no one at reception—but I contacted the property through Expedia, and to my relief, they responded with such grace and trust. Despite the late hour, they remotely opened the door and allowed me to check in around 11pm. That kind of compassion and understanding is rare, and I was deeply moved by it. I felt safe, cared for, and welcomed. Because of their hospitality, I will absolutely be staying here again—and next time, I’ll be bringing my family. This is a place I now trust."
