"As a last-minute walk-in guest they were able to accommodate me. Clean room, could use better aromatics. Helpful staff. Didn't eat the breakfast that was provided. Didn't use the bar. Smart TV's were not what I'm used to. Radio clock was helpful. Room had work desk, coffee. No Gideons. And the outlets in the lamps couldn't keep grip on my charger block. Great experience, great water pressure in the hot bath. Clean bathroom. Well put together."

"Orbitz is the worst. They have screwed up their last reservation for me. And Windsor Suites have earned my business for ANY trip I ever have to take to Philadelphia in the future. My plans changed and Orbitz wanted to charge me in excess of $200 to cancel my $145 hotel room. Through the Orbitz portal I sent a "direct message" to The Windsor Suites that I would be a day late. Orbitz does NOT forward messages on to the hotel I learned. I was cancelled as a no-show. The Windsor Suites staff recognized my predicament, and even though my room reservation had been cancelled, and the only room avaiable was a suite that was 3x the rack rate of the room I reserved, they moved me into the more expensive room -- and at a LOWER rate than what Orbitz had quoted for a standard suite. The room was roomy, clean, well stocked, quiet, and comfortable. This was Orbitz's last chance as I have had multiple reservation problems over the years. In the future, I will use them to search for a hotel and rate, but ALWAYS call the property directly."

"Usually don’t have an issue with this, but at the time staff was picking. Made it loud and difficult coming out of the building while picking up the leave we found someone else’s underwear behind our towels."

"Booked a 1 night stay after a cruise and arrived at around 1230pm, expecting to only be able to store our bags until the 4pm check in time. We were greeted warmly at reception and advised that if we waited 20 minutes, we'd be able to access our room at 1pm which was ideal. Rooms are good size and whilst in need of a little refurbishment, the beds were comfy and rooms had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was excellent and offered plenty of choice, including hot options (waffles/omelettes/bacon). The free WiFi worked well throughout our stay and theres also a bar within the hotel offering a decent selection of drinks. Previous reviews mention the area being full of homeless people which isn't accurate. This seems to be a city wide issue and not restricted to the hotel surroundings and, as such we experienced no issues and felt safe. Easy walk to Reading Terminal Market and into the city. Great service, great price and friendly staff. Thanks Hampton!"

"This was such a modern and well-done hotel. Our rooms were a good size, very clean and nicely done.It was also amazingly quiet. The location was great but we were disappointed that the Starbucks that is in the same building was temporarily closed. We had planned on getting coffee there in the mornings but the hotel did have free coffee in the lobby. The night we were there they had music, a band, on the patio which was fun. The staff was either very friendly or very rude. It was weird the sharp contrast."
