"One of the best properties for the value for the money and the experience there. I am a fan. Outstanding property, staff and amnesties. Clean 5 star room thats compact and well designed. Complementary laundry room for guests, no coin operated nonsense. They even give you free detergent. Very nice and well equipped fitness center. Purified water with recyclable bottles on all floors. Gourmet coffee maker in the lobby (complementary). Early check in option and 12 pm check out. Perfect location in the middle of it all! What more can you ask?"

"The hotel was beautiful, and its central location was a major plus, with a train and trolley station conveniently nearby (walking distance). The breakfast was also delicious and definitely a highlight of the stay. The restaurant staff were consistently very kind, welcoming, and attentive, and they made an effort to show that they were available and willing to help. In contrast, while the front desk receptionists were cordial, their interactions felt somewhat formal and less welcoming. They often appeared serious and made limited eye contact, which made it difficult to tell whether they had noticed guests waiting or were available to answer questions. A little more proactive acknowledgment and warmth at the front desk would have made the overall guest experience even more positive."

"First time to Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love. We arrived after midnight & there was a gentleman at the door (inside) who could see we were trying to remember the after hours procedure -- he came out to help us get in. He was friendly & helpful. Checkin was a breeze. We were placed on the 19th floor facing City Hall since we were tourists & the gal at the desk wanted us to have a great view. The room was simple & comfortable. (No art on the walls or anything, but that's not a dealbreaker for us.) The beds were comfy. Great rolling blinds to block out the sun for sleep. SUPER QUIET. (Sometimes thought we were the only folks on the floor!) Plenty of shampoo & conditioner in refillable bottles in the shower. Earth friendly. Everything was super clean. No weird odors. The coffee maker is in a dark nook & it's impossible to see what you're doing, so bring a flashlight! (Not a lot of extra space to move the coffee maker to for better light.) The A/C worked well but was really "breezy." (No way to put the fan on low.) Not a dealbreaker, but noteworthy. The shower was frustrating. You'd get the water to run warm, hop in, & then it would get reallllly hot, so you'd turn it down a bit, but nothing would happen, and then you'd turn it down more....nothing would change....by now you'd be almost screaming, so you'd jump to the side....turn it down more....and suddenly it would be COLD. My daughter and I both had the same experience. Otherwise, GREAT HOTEL!"

"This is the second time I have stayed at the Moto. The staff is friendly, helpful and available. My room was very clean with sufficient amenities. As we are in the inner city, the morning noise outside is more than I am accustomed in my neighborhood, but it is not overwhelming. Happy hour at the bar was extended to the dinner time for me and the food, Mexican style was great. I would always stay at the Moto when I am downtown Philadelphia."

"The location was excellent for doing tourist stuff. The staff was very attentive. The only gripes I have are that the AC in the room didn't seem to work properly. It was always stuffy when we came back to our room. There was no fan in the bathroom, which causes it to be very steamy and humid in the bathroom after showers. Lastly, the elevators took forever. There were only 3 working. Overall, though, it was lovely."
