"The first room we were given stunk of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom. Odd as the room had been cleaned. The reception staff immediately gave us a better room. I also found it a little weird that the hallways were so dim (?). The wall sconces were on but didn’t throw much light. "

"This hotel is convenient because it's close to work, near the motorway and a couple of miles outside Reading - with good bus links if you need them."

"Stay was ok. Parking a nightmare. Location good for centre. "

"Staff very friendly and efficient. Sink was blocked, soap dispenser in shower was empty. No kettle in the room and although there was free drinking water and free hot drinks that was all the way down in reception. I knew I was opting for a stripped down version of a hotel room but have stayed in lots of other hotels that offer more for the same price. "
