"Overall, the staff members I met were amazing. The owner/ manager proudly showed me to our room and identified several of his favorite aspects of the room. Then, he himself helped me and my husband move our things into the room! The only few negative issues I found were: first, the age of the facility. For instance, the spotless bathroom sink was beginning to disconnect from the wall. The electric plugs were a bit problematic, but again, that's probably due to age. Also, like many other small hotels, breakfast was mostly carbs: cereals muffins and some fruit. We prefer protein, but I did not see any problems with the quality of the food offered. The hotel is in a very busy area, near multiple stores, restaurants and fast-food, and we had plenty of food in our room fridge. The last minor problem was the stale cigarette smoke. But there again, it was residual odor mostly in the corridor, not active smoking. The sheets and pillow cases didn't have any such odor. In my estimation, the welcome we felt far outweighs the little imperfections. We were very happy there!"
