This is a very clean and well maintained building. It's in a great area of Playa Del Carmen. This area seems to be the "newer" area of Playa del Carmen with good restaurants and just a short walk to the beach and 5th Ave. There are a few simple items that the host could do the make the stay better. 1. leave directions on how to reset the safe in the room. I tried to Goole drections. No luck. I couldn't use the safe until the property management company came and showed me how to reset the safe. They should leave instructions in several languages on how to reset the safe. 2. Same with the washing machine. Leaving directions in english would have saved me some time on it's usage. I thought it was a combined washer/drier, it wasn't...it's a washer only but the unit does have a nice spacious drying rack and clothing dries in a few hours in the hot climate. 3. The unit has 2 TV's however the remote controls are on the same frequency...so if you change the channel on one TV, it changes the channel on the other TV BUT....not to the same channel. (example, I tuned to channel 5 on one of the TV's but it changes the other TV to channel 7....so you can't synch the TV's... kind of annoying). If the host would change a few of these simple things, then this place is a 5 star....but I spent time trying to figure out these details when they could have been addressed easily with some general info left in the room.

Condo was as describe. Close to transportation and shopping. Couch was uncomfortable so cant imagine someone sleeping on it, and shower was always cool. So if you like hot showers it may not be for you. Rooftop pool was amazing and front desk very friendly. I would stay again.
