Just returned from a four night stay in beautiful Mayakoba Mexico. This was probably one of the best resorts in Mexico that I have stayed at. The service, the rooms, the resort, and the amenities were all amazing!
We did not do the all inclusive option but our booking included the buffet breakfast which had everything we needed. We weren’t aware that we had butler service included with our reservation. Javier and Ali were the assigned butlers for our 2 rooms. They were so helpful and responsive. They helped familiarize us with the property and amenities, adjusted our dinner reservations, arrange transportation, booked activities, and were always available to answer our questions.
The resort is simply beautiful! It underwent a complete renovation just a few years ago. Everything looks brand new. The beach club with the beach side pools are a highlight. Alberto led the mixology class at Cielo rooftop - a great bar tender and a fun teacher! The class was included for no additional cost (even better lol). All the included activities were great - we biked the nature trail, we did hat painting, catamaran’s on the beach, a visit to the butterfly sanctuary, and a guided cenote visit. The morning Eco tour with bird watching is a highlight - not to be missed! Our boat captain, Miguel, was funny (which we needed to wake up at 7:30am) and also very knowledgeable about the local wildlife! It is the most popular activity there, so make sure to reserve it as soon as you can.
